The standard clutch was replaced with a Quick UK heavy duty one on the grounds of reliability. The standard item on the left has a round hole leaving only a small amount of metal to act as a spring, fractures can occur at the tangent. The heavy duty clutch on the right has an elongated hole allowing for a greater amount of metal to act as the spring, this design lengthens the time between overhaul. |
