Hirobo Schweizer 300

Main frame

Assembly of the chassis starts with the tail drive that is taken off the main gear.

A machined clutch bell is standard as is a one way bearing to allow the use of a hexagonal starter (not included in the kit).

This picture illustrates how the engine assembly will be positioned within the main frame.

Once the two side frames have been brought together they sandwich the tail drive, clutch bell, fuel tank and the main shaft.

The servo tray is a combination of aluminium and plastic that when bolted together is a very strong platform for the radio equipment.

The main frame was completed with the addition of the servo tray.
