Hirobo Bell UH-1B

Parts overview

Despite no pretty pictures on the outside, the packaging is very good. Nothing was broken despite the many miles this helicopter has already travelled from the factory.

The fuselage arrived as seen in the picture, with many of the apertures cut out already.

Upon initial inspection nothing is missing, all the parts bags are clearly numbered and it is easy to tell which bag corresponds with the appropriate stage of assembly.

To prevent the eye from being attracted to little shiny pieces of aluminium a few components have been selected to be anodised. For example: the tail pitch lever support post, tail drive mounting brackets, fuselage mounting braces and dummy antenna will be coloured black. Aside from improving the look of a scale machine, anodising prevents them from conducting electricity and reduces the risk of any metal-to-metal radio interference.

Here are the same items as above but now with an anonymous black finish. Additionally a swashplate, machined cooling fan and engine mount have had the same treatment.
