The standard Shuttle mixing base and driver are used. The red tape is to simulate the red canvas that was used on the full size to prevent debris from causing excessive wear on the main shaft. |

A different rotor head than the one supplied in the kit has been used. The main reason for this significant change is because the full-size has the flybar carrier above the rotor head yoke. Therefore an unused, but not currently in production, Shuttle NS rotor head has been used. A FZ III with an underslung flybar is supplied in the kit. This change required custom made push rods to be made. |
