A bespoke muffler was required for the unique mechanics. The header from an original Hirobo muffle was removed and glued to a combination of balsa, cardboard roll, and brass tube to make a dummy muffler . Making a dummy muffler like this makes it easier for a machine shop to fabricate the real thing. |
