Hirobo Bell 47G (GS)

The Bell 47 was largely designed by Arthur M. Young and was the first helicopter to be certified for civil use in 1946. Early designs had open cabins but the most familiar is the Bell 47G with a full bubble canopy, oil-rig structure for a tail boom and saddle fuel tanks.

The kit featured here is manufactured by Hirobo and is a 16% (1/6.3) scale model of the Bell 47G. It is designed for a 24cc two stroke model engine included in the kit and 5 servo operation. It features many pressed aluminium parts, shaft driven tail drive and two functioning fuel tanks in the correct location.
